Whats is happening at Wabash Carnegie Public Library?

It is 2008 and another year has passed. As we look back on 2007, it has been a successful year for Wabash Carnegie Public Library in serving the community of Wabash. As we at the Wabash Carnegie Public Library continue to strive to do our best for you, we hope you have a wonder and blessed New Year.

Join us this winter for a number of programs. For children/youth ages preschool to 12, there is a number of programs planned. There will be a preschool story hour each Tuesday and Wednesday starting January 15 and ending in mid March. There is a Toddler Time program each Thursday starting at 10 a.m. starting January 17th until February 28th.
In March, we will be having the Battle of Books which encourages reading by elementary and middle school children. In April, we will be having the Family Story Hour.

We also have programs planned geared to ages 7 to 12. On January 24th, the library is having a mother/daughter book discussion. The book "Tending to Grace" by Kimberly Fusco will be discussed. There is a book discussion specifically for teens on the book, "Twilight". This will be on Feb. 13th at 6 p.m. Looking to go to a mystery dinner party as a teen? Well, you need to attend the teen mystery theater party on March 20th.

We are working on programs for adults this winter and coming Spring. Information will be up soon about some programs in the works. If you want to attend any of or have questions on the programs above, don't hesitate to call us at (260) 563-2972.

Best regards,
